If your front teeth have fillings, do they match the color of your teeth? Are you pleased with the appearance of the fillings in your back teeth? Are you pleased with your smile? If you answered no to any of these questions, our team at Belmar Smiles would be happy to discuss smile enhancement options or cosmetic dentistry. There are many types of cosmetic procedures depending on the desired out come.

Whitening brightens discolored teeth. It can be preformed on all types of teeth, but certain types of discoloration are more difficult to remove. in addition, some patients’ teeth will lighten more than others. There are two types of whitening procedures: those done completely in the dental office (in-office whitening), or those dispensed by the dentist to be used at home (at home whitening). The advantages of whitening are that it’s economical and does not require tooth removal.

Bonding is a procedure in witch tooth colored materials are applied to the enamel. Bonding covers discolorations, repairs chips and cracks, and fills in gaps. Bonding is often completed in one visit and may not require the use of anesthesia.

Veneers are tooth colored restorations that are designed to cover the front side of the teeth. They are affixed directly to the tooth, allowing one to change the color, shape, and/or size of one’s teeth.

Even the most subtle change in your smile can make a dramatic difference in the way you look and feel. When you feel and look good, you project confidence. So make the most of your smile.
